Women are Wondrous

Staying at home sounds great! That is extreme sarcasm. I am a very independent female. I believe strongly that women and men are equal. Women should not be expected to stay home just because they are women. "An American role- reversal: Women the new breadwinners" talks alot about different peoples opinions about whether the woman or the man in the relationship should stay home. "In nearly every case, the woman is better educated than the man." Women are proven, through statistics, to be better educated then men. Men like to do hands-on activities such as outside work. "Women earned 57% of bachelor's degrees, 60% of master's degrees and 52% of doctoral degrees in 2010, the Education Department reports." The truth is, women just put forth more effort into their education. They try harder than men to graduate from schools in various degrees. I don't think women should have to stay home when they are obviously capable of working. What if women working helps the family work better? "'Patience'- when Dad has it naturally and mom doesn't." Women aren't always that great with children. Sometimes children just have a better connection with their dad instead of their mom. "Women who work are sometimes percieved as sacrificing family for career." Why aren't men labeled with that when they work all the time? This has absolutely nothing to do with gender. Just because a women has a job doesn't mean she'll always be away from home. Even if she was always away, she's away just to bring money in for her family. A woman works for her kids.
